How it all started
My love for fishing began in childhood. I was born and raised in Clermont, Florida. My passion for fishing was birthed after my first fishing experience with my dad at Lake Minneola, Clermont. Since then, I never looked back. I became hooked on fishing for life. My passion for fishing only grew over the years. I learned more about fishing and became a tackle fanatic. I wanted to pass this knowledge to others. With the advent of the internet and blogs, I decided to create betterangler.com to help others get better at fishing and enjoy their fishing journey with the rightly chosen fishing gear.
I created BetterAngler to help people develop a passion for fishing. Fishing is a highly rewarding sport with a lot of physical, healthy, social, and mental benefits. I understand that not everyone had the chance to learn fishing as kids or had fishing experiences with their dads as they grew up. I have decided to bridge that gap by teaching them how to be good anglers through simple and easy to understand articles.
